Meet Your guide: Veronica Ljubicic

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada where I still live, I am Croatian Canadian and a Salesian Cooperator. My educational background is in Communications, Marketing, Business, Career and Life Coaching. I started in the fashion industry where I worked in retail, wholesale and then created an online and mobile fashion footwear boutique for women who wear hard-to-find sizes. I transitioned to work for non-profits in international development and youth/young adult ministry. Now I work as a Discernment Guide, Facilitator, and Work-Life Transition Coach. I am a member of Career Professionals of Canada, certified life coach through Metanoia Catholic, and trained to walk people through assessment tools, life skills techniques, and coaching strategies aligned with a Catholic anthropology of the human person and their thriving.

I guide Catholic-Christian Women Workers on a journey of self-discovery, exploration and optimization where they become more aware of their natural strengths, spiritual gifts and temperaments, desires and interests, unique story/experiences, and challenges. We look at them from a place of awareness, curiosity, and possibility. We discern work, business, volunteer and/or training opportunities, and create resilience strategies that correspond to their state in life, values, what they uniquely have to offer, and who they are distinctly called to serve that allows them to live a purposeful and integrated life. Together we improve their external and internal environments by helping them find a good fit where they can contribute their best while managing their health (body, mind, emotions, soul) and well-being (relationships) as they navigate their work-life transition process.

Why work with a Catholic Life Coach?

1) We provide a whole person approach to your personal and professional development needs which combines life coaching techniques with Catholic principles to improve your life in an integrated way honouring your values.

2) We will guide you in setting and achieving your desired outcomes without compromising your faith, no new age or occult practices or beliefs.

3) Unlike therapy which looks back with the goal of healing, we will help you move forward to attain new goals and fulfill your potential. Coaching is present and future focused; we will work through obstacles that are getting in the way.

4) We will help you discover and maximize your God-given gifts and strengths to improve your work and life while honouring your integrated health and well-being.

5) We will walk alongside you providing encouragement, support, tools, and guidance helping you navigate life's challenges, make well-informed decisions, and find more purpose and meaning in your work and state in life.

What is Unique about Catholic Life Coaching?

Aligned with God's design for how our mind and inner life works, we are made of both body and soul and they need to work together so we can reason and choose wisely through our intellect. Our souls are a higher psyche than our bodies/passions as per St. Thomas Acquinas and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. By observing these interior movements, we can choose our greatest good by knowing the truth and examining the results of these dispositions.

Instead of choosing more positive thoughts, "thought-swapping" or trying to change our behaviours which is not easy or always helpful, we go to the root. We can ascend toward higher truths and beliefs (more believable thoughts) through good factual evidence, Scripture, discernment of spirits, virtue development and dependance on God's grace. With the help of the Holy Spirit and a good Catholic life coach, we can choose more life-giving thoughts and paths that lead to freedom, better fruits, and the fulfillment of your desires.

We work through faulty beliefs which often come from unforgiveness, lack of self-awareness, or unprocessed wounds and emotions. We repent of any sins or lies believed and surrender to God praying for the grace to renew our minds and choose thoughts, beliefs and emotions which propel us to make better choices and lead to outcomes that are more beneficial. It is a process and a life coach can help you progress and stay accountable.
